Relocation of Plant and Equipment

MPMS has significant experience of dismantling and relocating not just individual pieces of equipment but also entire process plants, factories and offices. Planning is critical in any relocation often it is the last component that is removed that must be the first to be installed at the new location, therefore the reverse engineering that has to be planned and executed is often complex, it might be necessary not only to de-commission the equipment  before dismantling but also to ensure it free of any contaminants or toxic elements before it can be transport. Sequencing the dismantling, the planning of holding areas and the logical planning of the components arriving at the new location are an MPPMS skill. Read our case study describing how a Rotary Hearth Furnace almost 45 metres in diameter and weighing almost 2000 tonnes was relocated from the USA to South Korea under the management of MPMS engineers
